Katie Fraumann Yoga, Reverse Warrior Pose

Katie has been on her mat since discovering yoga in 2001.  She started out with no flexibility and no concept of movement or breath.  She began yoga with the hopes of touching her toes.  Since then she has traveled the world working in International Education while practicing yoga.  She completed an arduous Yoga Alliance Certified 200 hour Teacher Training at Kula in New York City, an 85 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Prenatal Teacher Training at Integral Yoga Institute in New York City as well as a 25 hour Relax and Renew Restorative Teacher Training with Judith Lasater. She has also completed various therapeutic training for knees and lower back.  She holds a BA from The University of Michigan and an MPA from the Monterey Institute of International Policy.

Katie’s yoga classes are creative and dynamic and focus on opening and aligning the mind and body. She likes to balance alignment based flow yoga with a few sublime restorative poses at the end that bring balance and relaxation.  Her divine adjustments allow one to go deeper into a pose and will have you leaving in a state of bliss. Breathing techniques that focus on relieving stress are also incorporated.  Her sequencing is fluid and thoughtful as she is always considering smooth transitions that will safely leave us open to fully experience all that the poses have to offer.
